On April the 7th, on the occasion of the foundation of the World Health Organization, the World Health Day occurs, which this year has been dedicated to the issue of food safety.
The initiative aims to stimulate governments to put in practice measures to increase food safety along the whole food chain, from production to consumption, improving individuals’ life quality and health.
On the health field, Magneti Marelli’s commitment is high thanks to several activities and projects run within the plants worldwide: from Bologna (a smoke-free plant excluding dedicated areas) where educational paths have been offered to people willing to quit smoking, to Brazilian plants, which promote wellness programs aimed to raise awareness on sport activities, passing through projects related to healthy diet within plants in China, Slovakia, Malaysia and Poland.
Magneti Marelli joins the World Health Day celebrations with an internal communication and awareness campaign on the Employee Portal, posters on bulletin boards and the internal corporate TV.
