The graduation ceremony of Magneti Marelli Formare School students was held on January, 23rd in Amparo. A very important date for the youngsters, their families and the Company, which is getting ready to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of this programme. Twenty-one kids were personally given their certificate of “Product and Service Manufacturing Operator” by the management of Magneti Marelli Amparo plant as well as by the representative of the Iochpe Foundation, sponsor of the Formare programme, Carolina Magon and by the students’ sponsor, Paul Andrew Stein, director of the JBS Foods located in Amparo. Since 2004, with the opening of the Formare Scuola Hortolândia, Magneti Marelli is committed to strengthen the social development of the local communities where it operates, pillar of the company Sustainability Program. “Formare” is a learning programme founded 23 years ago by the Iochpe Foundation that works towards integrating youngsters in the labor market, through voluntary action by major companies and their employees. For the past ten years, this initiative has represented Magneti Marelli’s main Social Responsibility project in Brazil: it has trained over 650 students in schools located at the Company facilities of Amparo, Hortolandia, Lavras and Mauà.
