Skoda to start production of its Karoq in Mlada Boleslav
Skoda has started production of the new Karoq SUV at the central Mlada Boleslav plant in the Czech Republic.
The factory now hosts the assembly of four models (the others are Fabia, Rapid and Octavia) and the initial production rhythms of Karoq are around 320 units a day.
Karoq, with which the Czech carmaker is continuing its offensive already started with Kodiaq, is also built at the other local plant in Kvasiny from the end of July 2017.
Last year, Skoda produced around 547,000 vehicles at Mlada Boleslav.
