The future of Opel in the GT X Experimental concept

Opel has released the first sketches of the GT X Experimental concept which presents characteristics that will characterize the models of the Rüsselsheim carmaker in the coming years.
Two key elements of the new Opel stylistic philosophy will be the Bussola and the Vizor, which recall some models of the past. The Vizor is a modern reinterpretation of the classic grille.
It is not just a stylistic choice, but represents the Opel's gateway to the world of electric cars and autonomous driving (which will be equipped with them).
It looks like an elongated black module that includes the front headlights and the brand emblem, and hosts the sensors and cameras needed on modern vehicles.
The Compass is instead a pure element of style represented by the central rib of the bonnet that organizes the stylistic elements along two axes that intersect on the Blitz, the legendary Opel logo. Which becomes the central point of the whole line of the car even more than in the past.
And it is now made up of a series of LEDs that show the operating status of the car by illuminating different colors under a coating of dark plexiglass that covers them.
In the GT X Experimental, the horizontal axis is symbolized of typical Opel daytime running lights, which will continue to be present on all the Opel models of the future.
The GT X Experimental is an electric-powered car, whose power is supplied by a 50 kW/h lithium-ion battery with inductive charging.
This is also a characteristic that will unite the future cars of the German brand.
