VW Group's South african plant will host the production of Audi models
Not in the short term, but in the future the Volkswagen Group's Uitenhage South African plant will again host the production of Audi models (does not happen since 2001).
The announcement comes from the number one of the local division of the German carmaker, Trevor Hill.
Next year, meanwhile, Audi will surely launch in South Africa the new A8 and A7, the renewed TT and also the SUV family under the Q name.
Volkswagen is the main Automotive Group in the country and last year announced it will invest another 340 million dollars at the Uitenhage factory.
