Volvo marks two years of double-digit growth in India
Two years of double-digit growth in the Indian market for Volvo. The Swedish carmaker has in fact gained 12% in 2016 to about 1,600 cars after registering a + 18% in the previous year.
And now the goal is to further consolidate its position in the emerging Asian market where Volvo is also considering the possibility of building its first production plant.
According to Volvo Auto India CEO, Tom Von Bonsdorff, this year the local sales of the brand will rise to over 2,000 units even in the light of a good first quarter.
