Volvo global sales up 5,7% in June
Volvo is on the right track to make a new global sales record.
The Swedish carmaker recorded a growth in registrations of 5.7 % also in June compared with the same month of 2016 to 54,351 units, bringing the total of the first half to 277,641 units, an increase of 8.2%.
In June, Volvo reached a double digit increase in Asia/Pacific (especially in China), a result that, in addition to good performance in Europe, offset weaknesses in America.
The XC60 remains the most sold car with nearly 17,000 units delivered in the single month ahead of the V40/V40 Cross Country and XC90.
