Volvo already sold 100,000 units in China in 2017
Volvo has already reached the milestone of 100,000 cars sold in China before it finishes 2017.
The Swedish carmaker organized a special ceremony in Shanghai with Yuan Xiaolin, Senior Vice President for the Asia Pacific Region, who delivered the milestone model, an S90, to its owner.
The result is significantly better than the entire 2016 when Volvo had registered 90,903 units in the world's top market, an increase of 11.5% over 2015.
The S90 is produced locally (along with the long wheelbase version) and in recent months it has been exported to Europe and the USA.
