Volkswagen to launch its new Virtus sedan in South America
The Volkswagen brazilian division has released the first images of the new Virtus sedan that will soon be marketed in the South American markets.
The car was developed on the same MQB A0 platform from which the sixth generation of the Polo was released.
Virtus has a style halfway between that of the Vento distributed in India and that of the Passat and has a wheelbase of 2.6 meters.
In the markets of Latin America, it will be available with a 117 HP, 4-cylinder 1.6 petrol engine and 1.0 liter, 128 HP 3-cylinder turbo, and in Brazil will replace Voyager and the old Polo. Next, Virtus will also debut in India.
