Volkswagen China sales hits new record in the first half
First half-year record for Volkswagen Group's Chinese sales and its consolidated local joint ventures.
The company has announced that it has sold about 1.4 million units in the country of the Great Wall, a clear growth compared to the January to June period of last year.
To reach the new record, a big contribution come from the single June during which deliveries increased by 5.4%, as anticipated by the CEO of Volkswagen China Passenger Cars Brand, Stephan Wollenstein.
To support the upward trend is above all the SUV range, in particular the renewed Tiguan which has gained almost 40%.
