Two covers for 2019 Ferrari Yearbook
For the first time since Enzo Ferrari published the debut edition 70 years ago, the Ferrari Yearbook will have two different covers dedicated to two of the cars unveiled by the marque in 2019: the SF90 Stradale, the first hybrid model in the range, and the Ferrari Roma.
This 240-page volume tells the story of everything that happened in Ferraris' world in the course of 2019 through images. A very productive 12 months that brought the launch of no less than five new models in all: the F8 Tributo, F8 Spider and 812 GTS, the first V12 spider since the 365 GTS4 50 years ago, in addition to the Ferrari Roma and SF90 Stradale.
The Yearbook actually opens with photo feature on the people that work in the various areas in Ferrari: an intriguing close-up glimpse of some of the departments rarely seen by the public, such as the wind tunnel, the technical areas of the Gestione Sportiva and other less-well known offices. Naturally enough, the Yearbook devoted many further pages to client and other events, such as the Cavalcades and Universo Ferrari, a real experience that ran in Maranello for the entire month of September.
The Yearbook also cover Ferrari’s commitment to education and growth: aside from discussing the Masters open to the staff and now in its second edition, it feature a big day for Amatrice when the earthquake-devastated town celebrated the reopening of its school, rebuilt with Ferrari’s help.
As always too, the Yearbook devoted a large section to racing. In Formula 1, it retrace the season in the words of Mattia Binotto, Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc. Not forgetting the victory at Le Mans and other successes in the GT competitions, the highlights of the Corse Clienti year and the big Finali Mondiali end-of-season celebrations held at Mugello.
