Toyota updates the Safety Sense system, sold on 10 million cars worldwide
Toyota has announced that, just three and a half years after its launch, it has reached 10 million cars sold all over the world equipped with the Safety Sense, the complete range of technologies that helps prevent and reduce the probability of collision at any speed of march.
The Toyota Safety Sense is currently supplied on about 90% of the models sold in Japan, North America and Europe, a reality that translates into Italy with a range that features the TSS as standard throughout the range.
Today the system is available in as many as 68 countries around the world, including China, Australia, the Middle East and other Asian regions.
According to forecasts by the end of 2018 the total is expected to reach 3 million units in Japan, 5 million in North America and 2 million in Europe.
