Toyota celebrates 20 years of Yaris with the Y20 edition
The first generation of Yaris was launched exactly 20 years ago at the 1998 Paris Motor Show.
To celebrate the anniversary of the best-selling Toyota model in Europe, the Japanese manufacturer has decided to introduce the new "Y20" variant, whose models fit into the heart of the Yaris Hybrid range, alongside the current Style and Trend versions and introducing new Bi-tone colors: dark gray paint for the roof, and bodywork chosen from the colors dedicated to the Italian market Silver, Pearl and Black.
The exterior features specific details that will help the Y20 stand out within the range: 16-inch and 10-spoke gray alloy wheels, side moldings, front grille, exterior mirrors and fog lamps with dark gray chrome details.
In addition, the car is equipped with a shark-fin antenna in the same color, tinted rear windows and the special Y20 logo applied to the rear pillar.
The dark gray theme is also recalled inside the car, as well as the Y20 logo that can be found on the instrument panel and on the backrests of the front seats.
The new Yaris Y20 also mounts a new multimedia system that allows to connect your smartphone to the car to view the contents directly on the car's display, thanks to which you can access to the most used applications.
