Toyota Camry to return to Europe after 14 years with hybrid variant

Toyota will return to repropose the Camry in the markets of Western Europe after 14 years of absence from the lists.

The car is developed on the Toyota New Global Architecture platform and will be exclusively powered by a hybrid engine with a 2.5-liter Dynamic Force combined with an electric engine and a CVT transmission.

Further details will be unveiled in the coming months, but the return of Camry in Europe (which will take place in 2019) will allow the model to further increase sales that have already surpassed 19 million units worldwide since 1982 to date.
