Tesla accelerates to strengthen its position in Korea
Thanks to the local authorities' decision to grant subsidies to those who purchase a Model S 90D, Tesla has a key role in accelerating the consolidation strategy in the Korean market.
The California carmaker, in particular, will focus on growing the number of fast charging stations in the country to power its electric vehicles.
By the end of the month, Tesla will inaugurate a new column near the Seoul capital, adding it to the already seven that are operational.
The goal is to climb up to at least 25 stations by the end of the first semester of 2018, the period within which the new Model X EV SUV will also debut.
