Tänak has been crowned "Driver Of The Year" at the 2019 WRC Awards
Ott Tänak, the 32-year-old Estonian WRC 2019 World Champion with the Toyota Gazoo Racing team has been crowned WRC "Driver Of The Year" for the fourth consecutive season at the 2019 WRC Awards. Tänak secured the title with his partner Martin Järveoja, who was named co-pilot of the year.
Runner-up in the voting was Neuville (Hyundai), with nine-time world champion Sébastien Loeb (Hyundai) claiming third place.
Tänak received the award in Coffs Harbour at Kennards Rally Australia and said: «It’s been a great season. We had a lot of challenges and we managed to get over these. It’s finally great to win the championship and obviously we’ve had a lot of support from the fans so I’m looking forward to upcoming years».
