At the start the Italian pre-sales of the new Mazda3
Mazda Motor Italia opens the presale of the New Mazda3 recently unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor Show, reserving the first customers with the Celebration Pack, an exclusive service package (extension of the warranty up to 5 years and 200,000 km, the first 5 maintenance coupons and an exclusive personalization) included in the price of the car to celebrate those who will first drive the new model, which represents the beginning of a new era for the Japanese company.
Firstly because the new Mazda3 has been completely redesigned and adopts an evolved version of the Kodo design.
In addition to the two units initially proposed (a 122-HP, 2-liter petrol and a 1.8-liter diesel with 116 HP), the petrol-powered one stands out for being the first Mazda engine with the M Hybrid technology, a hybrid system with unique Mazda features.
The thermal engine is supported by an electric motor and a 24V lithium-ion battery which, combined with the exclusive braking energy regeneration system, ensure high performance while improving driving pleasure at low revs and at the same time, high efficiency especially in urban driving.
In addition to the M Hybrid system, the engine is equipped with the cylinder deactivation system which, by partializing the use of two out of four in certain situations where high torque is not required, further increases engine efficiency.
The New Mazda3 is also equipped with the new Skyactiv Vehicle Architecture technology, which, together with the most modern I-Activsense driver assistance systems, guarantees what in Mazda is called Jinba Ittai, the perfect harmony between man and machine.
Four versions available, all characterized by the standard presence of the most modern ADAS systems including automatic braking with recognition of pedestrians and cyclists, the roadway maintenance system, adaptive cruise control with safety distance control, headlights full LED with automatic high beam control, vehicle rear monitoring system, driver fatigue detection and head-up display that projects the main driving information on the windscreen and includes the traffic sign recognition system.
In June of next year, the first models of the Mazda3 are expected to be fitted with the revolutionary 2.0L Skyactiv-X engine, the only petrol engine in the world capable of operating for most of its field of use with ignition compression typical of diesel engines, adding the advantages of the two diesel and petrol propulsion: a superior throttle response, low fuel consumption and a linear, silent and low emission engine thanks to the exclusive Mazda Spark Plug Controlled Compression Ignition technology.
The new Mazda3, whose first 350 units will be available in dealerships starting in March 2019, has prices starting at 25,400 Euros for the Diesel Evolve version with a 6-speed manual transmission. The hybrid Mazda3 will start from 23,200 euros for the Evolve version.
