Skoda starts production of the new Karoq
Skoda has started producing the new Karoq at the Czech plant in Kvasiny. The compact SUV will be delivered from October, after the preview catwalk at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Thanks to Karoq's debut, the Kvasiny plant's production capacity is expected to grow up to 295,000 units by the end of the year, leveraging the assembly of the larger Kodiaq SUV and Superb sedan and station wagon to offset the loss of Yeti.
Karoq's engine offer includes the 1.0 and 1.5 TSI petrol engines and 1.6 and 2.0 TDI diesel engines with a power range from 115 to 190 hp.
