Skoda to start its SUV offensive in India with the Kodiaq
Up to now present in the sedan sector with Rapid, Superb and Octavia, Skoda is ready to launch an authentic SUV offensive in India.
The Czech carmaker has just started local sales of its seven-seat Kodak SUV with the aim of selling about 1,000 units in this latter part of the year.
It will challenge in the emerging Asian market models such as Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavor and Volkswagen Tiguan.
Skoda, which in the first six months of this fiscal year has sold 7,900 units in India, 22% more, will enrich the Indian SUV offer in 2018 by introducing the Karoq.
