Skoda Octavia production started at the Russian plant managed by Gaz
The Russian plant in Nizhny Novgorod, managed by Gaz Group, has started production of the next generation of the Skoda Octavia.
The car's previous series has rolled off the assembly lines always of the Gaz factory from June 2013.
Octavia will play a key role (in fact it has always played since it debuted in the country) in the consolidation of the Czech carmaker in Russia, a market finally destined for a bright future after years of crisis.
It already can be ordered locally from January, the new Skoda Octavia officially debuted in Russian dealerships on April 1.
