Seat plans to expand in North Africa and in Latin America
Seat is going through the best period in its history, and reached a successful return to profit in 2016 to internationalize and also to reduce dependence on European markets.
The Spanish brand aims thus to expand its activities especially in the emerging countries of North Africa and South America and it will produce cars in Mexico.
In particular in North Africa, Seat will play a key role in the Volkswagen Group's Algerian factory that has signed a joint venture with Sovac local partner to produce the Ibiza, as well as Golf, Caddy and Skoda Octavia.
The Ibiza made in Algeria will receive components from the Seat plant in Martorell.
