Seat at its best first half result since 2001
Thanks to the contribution of the single June (+ 12.6% to 45,200 units), Seat has filed its best first semester since 2001 in term of global sales.
The Spanish carmaker has registered 246,500 units, an increase of 13.7% over the January-June period of 2016.
As noted by Sales and Marketing Vice President Wayne Griffiths, Seat is currently one of the fastest growing brands in Europe, exploiting the biggest product offensive ever launched by the brand, which began in 2016 with Ateca and continued in 2017 with the new Leon.
The upward trend is expected to continue with the new Ibiza and the other Arona SUV.
