Sales of BMW plug-in and EV cars doubled in the first two months
Great start of the new year for BMW electric and plug-in hybrid global sales.
Registrations of the first two months are in fact more than doubled over the same period of 2016 to over 10,000 units, a result which bodes well the leaders of the Bavarian carmaker to meet the annual target of 100,000 units.
BMW began to sell its first EV model, the i3 (now the batteries range has been improved), in November 2013 and the threshold of 100,000 cars has been exceeded in three years. The "green" offensive of the manufacturer will continue in the coming years.
