Renewed Kia Optima as European preview in Geneva
Kia will unveil as European preview the new Optima at the Geneva Motor Show, which will be marketed in the main continental markets since the third quarter.
Available in sedan and sportswagon variants, Optima brings the debut of the new 1.6 CRDi with 136 hp and the 1.6 T-GDi and 180 HP engines with the latter that will be positioned between the 2.0 liter, 163 hp aspirated and 2.0 T-GDi with 245 hp mated only with the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Also introduced a new selector of the driving mode that offers the Eco, Comfort, Sport and Smart settings, but the update also involved the ADAS systems with the debut of Driver Attention Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist and 360 degrees cameras.
Among the basic features of the richer GT and GT Line versions, the 18-inch alloy wheels and a dual sports exhaust terminal stand out.
