Renault ready to debut also in Pakistan
Renault is investing 140 million dollars for a joint venture with the local company Al-Futtaim Group, thanks to which it will debut in the Pakistani market starting from June 2020.
And it will do so by exploiting a new plant that will manage jointly and which will have a production capacity of about 50 thousand units per year.
The factory will be built in the city of Faisalabad, in the province of Punjab, and will initially assemble five models of the French carmaker, still to be defined.
Renault will thus interrupt the monopoly of the Japanese brands Toyota, Suzuki and Honda in the emerging Asian market.
