Renault to boost product launches in India
Renault is planning a strategy in India to shorten launch times for new models and to launch product innovations faster than today.
The French carmaker, which has introduced three new cars in the country over the past five years, is now about to launch a new one a year from now until 2020. The program was anticipated by Renault India's Managing Director, Sumit Sawhney, to the Business Standard.
Currently supported mainly by Kwid, the Renault local division has set the goal by 2020 to become part of the top five in the brand ranking in the emerging Asian market where it now occupies the seventh position, resulting in a market share on the total increased from 4.5% to 5%.
