PSA makes Malaysia the hub for Southeast Asia
Malaysia will become the real hub for the planned expansion of PSA in Southeast Asia.
The French group, which had already been collaborating with the local Naza for some time, has in fact acquired the majority share of the factory in the Malaysian region of Kedah, managed precisely by Naza Automotive Manufacturing.
The plant, which currently travels to an annual production capacity of 50 thousand vehicles, will therefore host the assembly of several PSA-branded models also intended for export to the neighboring emerging markets of the region.
The ceremony for the operation took place in the capital Kuala Lumpur at the presence of the Malaysian premier Najib Razak.
