Produced 4 million units at the Renault's Slovenian plant
Important production milestone for the Slovenian Novo Mesto plant, managed by the local company Revoz, since 2004 entirely owned by Renault.
The 4 millionth unit, a gray Clio equipped with a diesel engine, has come out of the factory assembly lines.
The plant has been in operation since 1972 when the Renault 4 was assembled (until 1982) followed by the Renault 5 between 1983 and 1992 and the first and second generation of the Clio from 1993 to 2002.
Twingo 2 was produced until 2014 and today the plant assembles the Twingo 3, the Clio 4 and the smart forfour. The next milestone of 5 million units will certainly be in the name of electrification.
