The Porsche Ferry Foundation is born
On the occasion of the celebrations for its 70th anniversary, Porsche creates the Porsche Ferry Foundation with the aim of supporting projects related to education and social issues, as well as playing an active role in the development of young talents.
The initial investment for the Foundation amounted to 10 million euros and the same will be spent in a second phase to consolidate the activities.
The name of the Foundation is inspired by Ferry Porsche, son of Ferdinand and famous vehicle designer who founded the Porsche brand in 1948, turning the dream of creating the perfect sports car with the 356 model into reality.
The Porsche Ferry Foundation will focus primarily on the projects developed within and in the areas closest to the Stuttgart, Weissach and Leipzig factories.
