Opel: open day for the 25th anniversary of the Eisenach plant
Opel celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Eisenach plant with an open day that attracted more than 8,000 enthusiasts to visit the factory in the Thuringian region, greeted by the new German carmaker's CEO, Michael Lohscheller.
The Eisenach plant will continue to play a key role in production efficiency even now that Opel has entered the orbit of the PSA Group.
The event was also attended by the Premier of Thuringia, Bodo Ramelow, according to which the plant has supported over the years the steady economic growth of the region. The factory assembles the Corsa and Adam models, previously also Astra.
