Nissan to unveil a second work shift at its Brazilian plant
Nissan officially inaugurated a second production shift at its Brazilian factory in Resende.
The initiative was made necessary to support the high local demand of the Kicks SUV, whose assembly took place last April in the industrial complex active in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
Kicks debut led to the creation of about 600 new jobs with a 200 million dollars investment by the Japanese carmaker.
The Resende factory also builds March and Versa models and 3 and 4 cylinder engines.
