Nissan: new crossover to relaunch Datsun in Indonesia
The Nissan Group is preparing to launch a new Datsun crossover to boost sales of the young low-cost brand in Indonesia.
This is Datsun Cross, a compact crossover that will be on sale in March with the aim of attracting young people and local families.
Since 2014, Datsun has been present in Indonesia with the Go hatchback and Go Plus minivan and since then Nissan had announced that the range would be enriched with a crossover variant.
The latter is produced at the Purwakarta plant, West Java province.
Nissan, obviously also taking advantage of the Datsun brand, expects to increase sales volumes in Southeast Asia by 30% within five years.
