Nissan announces record sales in Europe in the 2016/17 fiscal year
Nissan announced a new record for its sales in Europe in the fiscal year ended last March 31. The Japanese carmaker has sold total of 756,762 units, representing an increase of 2.6% compared with the previous year.
Great contribution from the single March with sales up 10% to 107,592 units. Nissan has seen growing its volumes in the five major western European markets, gaining 13.3% in Spain, 7.5% in UK, 4.8% in Italy, 4.7% in France and 4,7% in Germany.
Among the models, good results for the Qashqai and even for Leaf and e-NV200 electric vehicles.
