The Michelin Man is the icon of the millennium
Bibendum, the famous Michelin man, was elected millennia icon by Advertising Week, the global US leader in the field of events for marketing, brand, advertising and technology professionals.
The award was given to Michelin during an event held in Times Square on the occasion of the 120th birthday of Bibendum.
Since its birth in 1898, thanks to the O'Galop's pencil, Bibendum is more than an advertising symbol. It represents the whole Michelin Group, its values, its commitment and its mission.
It is in practice the real spokesman of the Group in the field of mobility progress, inspiring sympathy and reliability, and is the symbol of the close relationship between Michelin and its customers.
