Los Angeles marks the world debut of the new generation Mazda3
The New Mazda3 makes its world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show which opens on Friday. The New Mazda3 adopts the more mature Kodo stylistic language, which embodies the essence of Japanese aesthetics.
While the line as a whole is simple and of a unique shape, slight undulations give vitality to the design through the movements of light and the reflections that propagate on the surface of the car body.
The result is a richer and more powerful expression of vitality than previous models based on the same Kodo design.
Despite sharing the name of Mazda3, the hatchback and sedan models (which will not be commercialized in Italy) have distinct personalities: the hatchback line is dynamic, that of the sedan is more elegant.
The New Mazda3 adopts the new Mazda Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture designed to allow occupants to make the most of their natural sense of balance.
The range of engines includes the latest Skyactiv-X, Skyactiv-G and Skyactiv-D engines that guarantee promptness and uniformity of response in all driving conditions.
Based on the car's design philosophy built around the man, Mazda has greatly improved the behavior of the car on the road in the fundamental phases of acceleration, curve and braking that are now totally natural.
