Kia sees Russia market growing 12% by the end of 2017
The steady improvement of the local economy is allowing the Russian market to forget the prolonged crisis of recent years and Kia expects total sales to grow by 12% at the end of 2017 compared to the previous budget of about 1.6 million vehicles.
This is an upward revised estimate made by the Korean carmaker that in the past months had expected a smaller increase, around 5-7%.
Always according to the Russian division of Kia, the market will rise again in 2018 to 1.8 million units.
In the first eight months of 2017, Kia's local market share grew to almost 12%, mainly due to Rio's success.
