Infiniti set to overtake Acura in USA
Infiniti (Nissan) and Acura (Honda) are two premium rival brands in the United States and this year, for the first time in 28 years (since Infiniti debuted), the first brand is destined to beat the second in term of sales volumes.
In the first half of the year, Infiniti is already ahead with a total of 79,143 units sold (+ 22%) compared to 73,781 for Acura, down 7%.
Infiniti's US growth is due to the commercial success of QX30 and Q60. By the end of the year, estimates predicted 168,000 Infiniti sold in America against 151,000 Acura.
