Hyundai Ioniq range to reach 320 km by 2018
Hyundai is preparing to launch the new Ioniq also in America, and the car will be on display as local preview in the coming days at the Los Angeles International Auto Show.
As known, Ioniq is a revolutionary car with three different "green" power supplies: hybrid, plug-in hybrid and pure electric.
During an event organized at the technical center in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Ahn Byung-ki, director of Hyundai's eco-vehicle performance group, anticipates that by 2018 Ioniq will have a range of about 320 km with a single battery charge compared to about 200 km today to better meet the needs of consumers.
Reaching around 320 km, the Ioniq's range will be practically similar to that of rival electric vehicles as Tesla Model 3 and Nissan Leaf, approaching to about 380 km of the new Chevrolet Bolt.
