Honda to increase WR-V production in India
Honda's Indian division announced that it will increase the production of its WR-V's compact crossover to about 5,000 units per month at the local plant in Tapukara, Rajasthan region (today 3,400 units per month are assembled).
The goal is to meet a growing demand and thus to reduce waiting period to receive the vehicle.
Since the official launch in India last March, the WR-V has already been ordered by 23,000 customers and delivered to 16,000 units. WR-V is the first model developed jointly by Honda research centers in India and Japan.
