Historical quarterly record for Seat sales
Seat has released its new record for quarterly global sales.
From January to March, the Spanish company has in fact gained 18.7% for a total of 139,200 cars registered, improving the previous record in 2000 (136,200 units).
To reach this excellent result also contributed a record-breaking March with 60,400 units sold, 13.4% more, the first time above the threshold of 60 thousand vehicles in a month.
To support the Seat's quarterly record its three main markets, namely Spain, Germany and UK where the manufacturer has recorded double-digit increases.
Given the constantly growing demand, Seat has announced that in April and May ten working weekends will be added to the Martorell factory on line 1 (dedicated to Ibiza and Arona), seven on line 2 where the Leon is assembled and four on line 3 of the Audi Q3.
Finally, between now and 2020, Seat will launch a new model every six months starting with the Tarraco SUV and Cupra Ateca.
