GAC to launch brand in Russia with GS8 SUV
GAC says it will enter the Russian market with the GS8 SUV next month.
The GS8 luxury flagship 7-seat SUV, which is certified for sale in Russia, is a special edition that offers a multi-terrain driving mode, smart security protection, intelligent 4WD system, independent suspension system and high-performance chassis shock absorber.
The first batch of GS8s has just arrived in Russia and will be available from December 9.
Attendees of the launch event in Moscow next month will also see a marketing campaign presented alongside the announcement of GS8's new product ambassador - described as a "chart-topping superstar".
GAC Motor Rus is the company's first overseas subsidiary and GAC describes Russia as a key market for its international strategy.
