Daimler launches new Denza EV for the Chinese market
Shenzhen Denza New Energy Automotive, the joint venture between the Daimler Group and the local BYD signed in 2011, has launched the new Denza 500 EV, conceived, developed and produced for China.
The acronym 500 next to the name Denza means that the car promises a range of 500 km.
The new Denza combines Daimler's technological expertise with BYD's battery development leadership and can be recharged at over 112,000 stations available on the world's largest market.
Last year, the previous Denza 400 reached Chinese sales up by 85%, confirming the great success of alternative supplies in the country of the Dragon.
