The car of the future will be digital and without buttons thanks to the cognitive and multisensory mobility assistant
Nuance Automotive has created the world's first cognitive and multisensory mobility assistant, designed to change the way drivers and passengers interact with their vehicle.
Thanks to the ability to understand the tone of voice, the emotions, the movements of the eyes and of the head, and the integration with external and internal sensors to the car as well as with the bots and assistants of third parties, the system is able to offer a personalized and humanized user experience that allows drivers and passengers to enjoy entertainment content, increase productivity, stay connected and ensure safety.
This is a fundamental experience for the future of digital cars, which eliminates the need for buttons in vehicles and offers a multisensory user experience based on the simultaneous interaction of voice, vision, gestures and emotions.
Nuance's new technology is based on the Dragon Drive platform, which will be shown on a 220-degree cinema screen at the next CES in Las Vegas.
