BMW to start production of its 6-Series GT in India
In recent days, BMW has started production of its 6-Series Gran Turismo at the Indian plant in Chennai (the milestone model is the petrol variant 630i Sport Line).
The car, as pointed out by the factory manager, Jochen Stallkamp, represents the state of the art of technology and innovations of the Bavarian Group.
Produced for the first time in India, the 6 Series GT will go to the assault of the competitive local luxury segment and on the assembly lines of Chennai it joins the 3-Series, 3-Series Gran Turismo, 5-Series, 7-Series, X1, X3 and X5.
Soon the production of the MINI Countryman will also start.
