The Alliance sold 5.54 million units in the first half
The Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance announced that it had archived the first half of the year registering a total of 5,538,530 units, equal to an increase of 5.1% compared to the same period of 2017.
The Alliance thus confirms itself as the world market leader in front of the Volkswagen Group (which, however, including the trucks would be the leader) and the Toyota Group.
In detail, the Renault Group has sold 2.1 million vehicles, the Nissan Group 2.8 million and Mitsubishi over 616 thousand.
The Alliance's main markets are China, America, France, Japan and Russia, and the goal is to increase global volumes from 10.6 million vehicles in 2017 to around 14 million units by 2022.
