Alfa Romeo and Abarth again awarded as "Best Car" by car, motor and sport readers
The FCA brands wins also the 43rd year edition of "Best Cars" readers' choice awards held by the trade magazine auto, motor and sport and its international partner magazines for 2019.
Readers from 17 countries voted for their favourites from a selection of 385 models across 11 categories.
2019 award is the third victory in a row for Alfa Romeo Giulia. In the competition for Best Car, not only did the Alfa Romeo Giulia win 20.8% of the votes, but its Quadrifoglio version also made it one of the most powerful vehicles among the 31 candidates in the "Mid-Class" category.
Instead the Alfa Romeo Stelvio competed in the "Large SUV/Off-Roader" class against 56 competitors.
Success also for Abarth: for the fourth time in a row (after 2016, 2017 and 2018) the 595 was voted "Best Car" 2019 in the imported "Mini Car" category. A result scored by collecting 30.6% of readers' votes.
