The Abarth of FCA Heritage at the next Targa Florio
Back in Sicily the re-enactment of the legendary "Targa Florio", the regularity competition for the oldest historical cars in the world that this year reached its 102nd edition.
Scheduled from 4 to 7 October, Targa Florio Classica will see the participation, as main sponsor, of the Abarth brand, which will compete in the race with three of the FCA Heritage collection models: the Abarth 2400 coupé from 1964, the Fiat 500 of 1974 elaborated with the new "Abarth Classiche 595 Transformation Box" and a Autobianchi A112 Abarth 58 HP, also build in 1974.
In addition, to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the birth of Carlo Abarth, the event will see the presence of two symbolic figures for the Scorpio brand: Anneliese Abarth, who will make the starting walkway on the 2400 Coupé belonging to her husband, and Eris Tondelli, historic pilot and test driver Abarth.
Moreover, in Piazza Verdi in Palermo the current range of the brand will be on display, while at the renowned Mondello it will be possible to test some Scorpio models.
