100 days for DriveNow: 60,000 customers in Milan
DriveNow, the car sharing service resulting from the joint venture between BMW Group and Sixt SE, celebrates its first 100 days of activities in Milan with about 60,000 registered customers and a fleet that has reached 500 units.
Just over three months that were marked by important innovations to citizens as the expansion of the operating area to reach Linate airport last December and the latest introduction in the fleet with the first 20 electrical units of the BMW i3 with Range Extender.
The enthusiasm with which Milan citizens have welcomed the debut of DriveNow is witnessed by more than 150,000 total hires recorded in this period for a total of 1.1 million km travelled.
The goal of the first 100 days of DriveNow in Milan celebrates an end of the year very positive for the company in Europe (where it is active in 11 cities) with 815,000 registered customers, 42% more than in 2015.
