The Qiantu K50 electric sportscar concept will debut at the New York Automobile Show
The Qiantu K50 electric sportscar concept will debut at the New York International Automobile Show in April. The car will be co-developing by californian Mullen Technologies with Qiantu Motor, a wholly owned subsidiary of CH-Auto, a leading automotive design and manufacturing company in China.
The car’s modular and flexible platform can accommodate new battery configurations and technologies which render upgraded model development possible.
The K50 is expected to be available in two versions, a Premium model and Sport+ Edition with 100 kwh battery capacity and 800 Nm torque, giving the K50 the longest range in its category of abiut 500 kilometers as well as the fastest acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds.
The car is extremely light thanks to the all-aluminum body frame with components of the carbon-fiber body panels and features dual motor, all-wheel drive, multiple driving modes as well as a double wishbone independent suspension.
A select number of vehicles will be released in late Q4, 2019, with full production commencing in 2020.
