Lada starts selling cars in Mongolia
Lada Avtovaz has signed a contract with its local partner Russo Motors to sell cars in Mongolia.
The first Lada dealership opened in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Lada says the new showroom meets the visual identification requirements of the brand as well as customer service standards. The staff of the dealership have also been trained in sales and maintenance of the Lada cars.
In Mongolia Lada is offering Vesta Cross sedan, the Vesta SW Cross and 3-door version of the 4x4 in. Later this year Lada, along with Russo Motors plans to start sales of the Xray Cross and the 5-door version of the 4x4, as well as the cars of the Granta and Largus families.
Lada Export director Max Missana said Lada have ambitious plans in the Mongolian market, and with the likely renewal of the Russian state logistic export support programs, the company will capture 15 % of the country car market.
